Dark & Moody Elegance – Bathroom Refit in Mellis, Suffolk
This renovation took place in a charming Suffolk barn, where our client’s style perfectly combined contemporary design with the period character of the building.
A modern freestanding bath was chosen as the striking centrepiece, paired with a wall-hung vanity unit by Calypso Bathrooms in Soft Graphite. As an alternative to traditional tiling, we installed Mermaid Elite shower panels, bringing a clean, contemporary finish. To complete the look, we added matt black fittings for a bold touch.
The result is a beautiful contrast: dark, moody greys and deep navys set against the barn’s original oak beams, creating a sophisticated, modern ambience that still celebrates the heritage of the space.
